Agnieszka Kwiatkowska
Fragments, attention, transformation; the art of presence.

About me:

I’m Agnieszka Kwiatkowska, a mosaic artist based on the Valencian coast of Spain. I create handcrafted mosaics that invite pause, presence, and connection; to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world.

I am drawn to the sacredness of the everyday: how natural fragments, small rituals, and intimate objects carry memory, meaning, and the potential to transform. Working with stone, glass, and marble, I place each tessera with care, letting fragments dialogue with one another. Slowly, patiently, they coalesce into new patterns, and parts become a whole.

My work ranges from bespoke wall art to intimate, meditative pieces, all created using traditional Italian techniques with a martelina and tagliolo. Every mosaic reflects time, attention, and intention, a reminder that beauty and meaning emerge from the simplest elements when treated with care.

Originally from Poland, I trained at the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in Italy and founded Aurora Mosaics in Amsterdam. Today, from my studio in Spain, I continue to explore how mindful craftsmanship can transform spaces, and our experience of everyday life.
