How to commission a mosaic?

Whether you are looking to create a unique piece of art to hang on your wall, to make an impact at the entrance of your bar or in your home, or to make the logo of your company; I can tailor the work to any of your project requirements. Here’s how and what to expect:

Email me at aga@auroramosaics.com and let me know what you're thinking and we can work together to come up with a plan. Whether you have any specific ideas or references or if you don’t know exactly what you want just yet, let’s chat and brainstorm together!

Depending on the project I work with hand drawn/digital sketches or visualization in-situ, and for larger scale projects I create a physical sample and/or colour schemes to share with you.

Price varies based on dimensions and materials used, and I can accommodate almost any dimensions of your choosing!
For any project a down payment will be required to begin the work and order the materials. Full payment will be required before sending the final artwork.

I’ll keep you up to date with the progress of your project and will of course respond to your emails in the meantime. I’m a full time mosaicist and your piece will have my full attention.

“Trust the artist”

I’ve always had this dream of a kitchen with a mosaic floor. Mediterranean vibes, a holiday feel, adding some flavour to the area. Which should inspire me to add that flavour into my dishes.

I knew I wanted it, I had no clue what I wanted. Luckily I had Aga to help. I explained to her what I had in mind, the patterns I like, the colours I love. We brainstormed together, and she took this to her studio. She soon came back with… something different, but WAY BETTER than I could picture. The colours felt much more in place, and the patterns she presented were very diverse. Trust the artist, I’d say, because she knows her stuff.

Once I selected a pattern - which wasn’t an easy task as I loved them all - Aga ordered the pretty tiles and started the hard work with her hatchet. I couldn’t believe it, when she showed it to me. So detailed, so precise, almost like it couldn’t be hand-made. She masters the craft like no other. And she laid the tiles she pre-made in her studio in an evenly precise manner. She says she made one tiny mistake, and I can consider that her craftsmanship’s signature - but I have yet to discover it.

Long story short, if you’re looking for mosaics in your house - go with Aga. No doubt about it.
